This year’s theme for Funnel Hacking LIVE is all about “Extreme Ownership”—taking charge of your life, getting after it, and serving those who you've been called to serve. And who better to come and present the value of taking back control of your life than retired U.S. Navy Seal, serial entrepreneur, podcaster, and New York Times Best-selling author of ‘Extreme Ownership’, Jocko Willink! With 4,674 attendees, FHL 2022 was our BIGGEST year yet! This was our 2nd year in a row in Orlando, which attendees LOVED!
In 2022, many businesses around the world were still trying to recover from the ripple effect of the last two years of COVID and restrictions. We wanted to focus on how to adapt, simplify your business, and THRIVE (instead of just survive) in the changing economy.
In 2021, we did things a little DIFFERENTLY, along with the rest of the world! COVID left the world in a state of uncertainty, and it felt like forever since the FHL community had been together.
But after 18 months of event/travel restrictions, FHL finally happened! Over 4,500+ gathered from across the globe (and the internet) to be inspired, take action, and learn from the ‘best of the best’ in entrepreneurship and marketing!
But the most memorable part of this year was experiencing the sheer JOY that our Funnel Hackers had as they CONNECTED as a community again!
Over 4,200 Funnel Hackers. Our FHL event has grown by almost 7X since our first FHL in 2015!
When we found a venue that not only could make the perfect accommodations for an event this big, but our attendees loved their experience at the location and hotel... we decided to go back to Nashville a 2nd time!
The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center was a perfect venue to hold our massive event, and it meant so much that we could all be under one roof, with everyone together in the same big ballroom!
When we started planning for our 2019 event, we had completely outgrown our previous venues, so we knew that we needed to look for a new place that could manage an event of over 4,300 attendees!Over 4,300 Funnel Hackers
The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center was like stepping into a mini city of it’s own!
It was equipped with everything we needed for an event...
(Plus, if Funnel Hackers wanted to pair it with a family vacation, there was plenty for the family to do during the day, like shopping, restaurants, an indoor river-boat ride, and a full-sized waterpark right on the property!)
FHL 2018 Was Nothing Short Of Magical. For so many reasons! First of all, we decided to have the event on at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort.
Not only was it able to house our 3,000+ attendees (which was more than DOUBLE the amount of event registrants from the year before!), but it made for a completely different location and environment than we were used to with previous venues.
Plus, with it being a Disney property, many attendees brought their families and added a few sight-seeing days to their trip on either side of the event. (And my family did the same!)
So Many NEW Things Happened at the Dallas FHL event! It was a huge growth year, with 1,436 FHL tickets sold! (That’s about 400 more entrepreneurs attending the event than the year before!)
I had used the term “One Funnel Away” here and there before, but the Dallas event is where that phrase really became solidified as one of our main taglines.
Because I loved it so much, and because it embodied the message that I wanted everyone to understand, I decided to use “One Funnel Away” as the theme for FHL 2017.
Preparing for FHL 2016 was a crazy mid of emotions... We were just coming off of a GREAT year of FHL in Las Vegas, and we felt great about what we had accomplished!
But we also knew that we wanted to GROW Funnel Hacking LIVE in 2016…
So we took a giant leap of faith, and searched for a venue in San Diego that had a lot more event space. We found a perfect venue that was on the marina away from a lot of distraction, where entrepreneurs could come and focus on their business for 3 solid days…
So we booked it! And then came the terrifying task of trying to fill all those seats… We made a lofty goal of selling 1,000 FHL tickets (almost dou
Looking Back, I Was Absolutely Terrified that nobody would come to our first event…
I think every first-time event host probably has that fear. I knew the VISION of what I wanted Funnel Hacking LIVE to be… I knew we could change a ton of lives if I could just get people in the seats...
And that first year, we sold 638 tickets (which seems so small now, but we were sooo excited at the time!) Yet for some reason, when the day came, I was still so worried that nobody would actually come to the event.
